Panasonic now removed the official GH3 video and I thought it would be nice to post some high resolution screenshot of the new camera. You can see quite many details on them! There is even Philip Bloom using the superb [shoplink 25118 ebay]Olympus 14-35 F2.0 lens (lens here on ebay)[/shoplink] on the GH3…LOL :)

What a day! Within a couple of hours all images about the new cameras got leaked! On top you see the E-PL5 and on bottom the E-PM2! As you already know both use the same [shoplink 29074]Olympus E-M5[/shoplink] sensor with TruePic VI image processing engine and touch screen. Price should be 399 Euro for the E-PM2 (with 14-42mm kit lens) and 599 Euro for the E-PL5 (with 14-42mm kit lens).
As you knwo there will be a new 15mm f/8.0 cap-lens and 12mm Black edition (both leaked here). Announcement on Monday! Stay tuned on 43rumors to get all news about the Oly/Pana Monday showdown!

Digicaminfo now also posted the image of the final 35-100mm X product version of the lens (we saw many prototype pics before). Specs didn’t change. Constant f/2.8 aperture, 0,85m minimum focusing distance and 58mm filter diameter.
Digicaminfo found two images of the new 12mm and 15mm black lenses. Actually that 15mm body-cap is intriguing me a lot and I like the idea that it will be packaged along the new PEN cameras!
What worries me a bit is that I have been told the Black 12mm lens is optically the same as the current [shoplink 23576]Olympus 12mm f/2.0[/shoplink] lens. So why put a “Limited Black” mark on it? To make it more expensive? Hope I am wrong and that the price will remain the same.
I got some more bits about the new Olympus PEN cameras:
The screen on the E-PL5 swings like the one of the Sony F3. It shoots 9fps. There is no built-in flash. The price with kit lens 599 Euro/Dollars. The E-PM2 with kit lens costs 399 Euro/Dollars.

While I leaked the full GH3 specs I still don’t know the final GH3 price. But I have the “suspect” that Panasonic still hasn’t unveiled to anyone what the price will be. They may are waiting to see what others are bringing? I hope that now that Nikon lowered the mark of FF cameras (with the D600) Panasonic may do the same on the pro GH3 :)
A reader just sent me a link to the first pictures of the new Olympus XZ-compact camera (via Tinypic). We also have been told by other sources that the sensor size will not change. It will use a similar [shoplink 19904]Olympus XZ-1[/shoplink] sized sensor and not a larger 1 inch sensor like you see on the Sony RX100 camera. But this is going to be a real nice camera and as you see form the picture you can even customize the grip like you do on the [shoplink 23568]Olympus E-P3[/shoplink]!
