A source (Thanks!) just confirmed the new Panasonic Varicam that will be announced on Friday has a new S35 sensor. It also has EF mount.

I still was not able to confirm these full specs I got weeks ago from a new source:

S35 sensor (from the Varicam LT)
EF-mount
14+ stops of DR
4k/1080p 10-bit 4:2:2 recording
Possible Prores recording
Two XLR inputs
SDI/HDMI output
Dual SDXC slots
Detachable sidegrip and top handle

Some news for all Lumix Video Shooters & Photographers:. A new version of the IOS Field Monitor app is now available. Many new features added:

 -Hide most of buttons on double touch on display

– Full focus control for manual focus with m43 lenses

– Full magnifier support with touch – it is awesome to have Focus Peaking, Zebra and Magnifier support on a large iPad screen!

– Performance further enhanced – I guess that I was able to minimize the lag as much as possible!

E-M1II vs E-M10II at CameraSize

The new Olympus E-M10 mark III will definitely have 4K recording. The announcement date is yet unknown but we expect the cmaera to be announced within 1-2 months! If the E-M10III will keep most of the E-M1II features it surely will become a hotseller!

In an interview with Stephan Wiesner Swiss photographer and Olympus Visionary Thomas Leuthard confirms new E-M10III is coming by end of this year. Just watch the German interview form minute 6:30 to hear it (if you speak German).

What we know is that the camera is going to be announced within 1-2 months. Shipment start could be August-September.

The Russian agency registered a new Olympus camera. The code of the camera is “IM006”. But I can tell you via my trusted sources this is for the new E-M10III. And the Russian registration spoiled a few details confirming our rumors. The IM006 uses the BLS-50 battery, the BCS-5 charger and it comes in three kits (body only, EZ kit and double kit zoom).

Expect the E-M10III to be announced within the next 6-8 weeks!

Nokishita leaked the images of the RED Olympus TG-5. The camera will be announced within a couple of days. Back in March our sources told us this camera would come soon. The same sources also said the E-M10III is coming as next ;)
