Cnet UK (Click here) posted a short GH3 preview. You can see some 100% crops and a video test. They write: “Head out with the GH3 and you can largely forget about light and sensitivity. When set to automatic ISO, my tests proved it could be trusted to select settings at least as high as ISO 3,200, with very little detrimental impact on the image. You have to look very closely to spot the grain, and it certainly doesn’t affect detail levels. Indeed, I would have no hesitation in shooting regularly at sensitivities above ISO 2,000 with the GH3.”

Finally you can see plenty of image samples taken with the strangest of all Micro Four Thirds lenses…the Olympus body cap lens.

Pekka Potka just posted the first B&W pictures of his dog and writes: “Aperture f/8 is far too dim to be usable (without flash) casually in a traditional P&S style whenever, if you expect normally sharp images. You really have to set your eye and mind to f/8 and work with the consequensies of it, namely blur.”

Panasonic is now sending the GH3 cameras to bloggers for testing (not with me of course..LOL). Within the last 24 hours FourThirdsUser (Click here), Pocket Lint (Click here), Photographyblog (Click here) and ePhotozine (Click here) posted new GH3 image samples. There are no RAW files available yet. As I said before I suspect the GH3 quality is more or less on par with the E-M5. Same sensor I guess…

Lenstip published the full Olympus 75mm f/1.8 lens review. And the conclusions says it all: “I do not hesitate to write it: testing such lenses is pure pleasure which starts when you take the lens out of its box and you look at it for the first time. You already know you deal with a very solid instrument. Pleasurable experience lasts when you take sample shots or photos of testing charts“.

I hope the new 17mm f/1.8 lens will be as good as that lens!
