One of our readers R.B. found a “solution” for all of you thinking that the new Panasonic 8mm f/3.5 fisheye lens
If you don’t care about size or manual focusing you could go for the Samyang/Falcon/Bower/Rokinon/Opteka 8mm Fisheye that sells for $300. It produces sharp images and has no vignetting. Used with a $20 adapter for Micro 4/3 u get a nice fisheye image at half the price.

The Sony NEX system offers the fisheye adapter for $149.99 but we have to see how much quality you loose by using an adapter on the 16mm lens (whoch costs $249.99))

Finally Panasonic released a new MicroFourThirds lens. The 8mm Fisheye will be available from July 2010 and cost £729.99 (according to dpreview).
