Canon 5D markII vs Panasonic GH2 rolling shutter ocmparison by Mike Kobal.

Photographyblog reviewed the [shoplink 14822]Panasonic 7-14mm F4.0[/shoplink] Lens. The lens gets highly recommended and not highly recommended mainly because of the high price tag (the performance itself is very good!). But at least in US this is changing quickly. There has been a $150-$200 price drop at Amazon, Adorama and BHphoto.

A new source sent us the list of new features the E-PL2 has compared to the older [shoplink 14832]E-PL1[/shoplink]. Other sources confirmed me that the info is correct. So here is the list:

Nikkorexf posted a first set of image sampels on flickr (Click here) taken with the new 26mm f/1.4 lens from SLRmagic. I would say that those samples are not so bad as I would have expectedform a lens with that price [shoplink 18603 ebay]Click here to see the lens on eBay[/shoplink].

But if you are looking for real good quality lenses you should take a look at the two new Panasonic lenses, They are getting the first price drops!

Fe got a few new Olympus XZ-1 info. The image on top shows the back of the camera with the new 3inch OLED screen. We have been informed that all PEN accessories can fit on the XZ-1 like the external Flashes the SEMA-1 Mic the VF-2 viewfinder! Max ISO is ISO 3200, it has Dual IS and can record 1080i and 720p movies. That camera will sell like hotcakes! Well done Oly!

P:S.: A wonder why the new E-Pl2 doesn’t share the same OLED screen…

It looks like there is a lot of new Olympus stuff coming at CES. We just received that picture. It shows the new Olympus E-PL2 in “Medusa” version with the Close Up Spotlight attached on the hot-shoe. It’s a LED light witch adjustable light intensity! It doesn’t require any extra battery. I think it’s quite a nice accessory!!!
