Today Olympus registered a new camera in Asia! This is a new model that will be announced after  the E-M5III launch (which is coming on October 17). I don’t know yet what this camera might be. But I am confident we will get this camera sometimes in  early 2020 (probably February).

Now let’s guess what this might be. but keep in mind there is 0%  chance this  is a new PEN-F as this line is rumored to be  done :(

New patent JP2019-164276 describes the design of the 100mm F2.8 Macro IS PRO. This lens is yet not mentioned on the official Olympus lens roadmap:

They integrated the Truepic VIII processor to boost performances and integrate the functions like handled high res shot
It has a new stabilization unit with IS up to 5,5 EV steps
And while it’s less compact, it’s a bit lighter (366g body only)
Announced October 17th, price starting at 1199€ body only and kit with 12-40 and 12-200
