Confirmed: New Panasonic announcement in May

Finally I got some good news from a trusted source. But it’s not clear if this will be a MFT, L-mount or fixed lens camera. He told me this:

  • One new Lumix camera will be announced in May
  • It will be a completely “new kind of model”

The source has not yet provided any details about what this camera will be. Anyway stay tuned…I might be able to get some more details soon ;)

OM ambassador teases “One Big announcement” on March 4th

Emielie Talpin posted this video and writes:

Join us live on March 4th, at 5PM EST for a very special announcement. We will all be taking live questions too. Don’t miss it. Add it to your calendar now!

Now, two things seem odd to me:

  1. that OM Digital would announce a new product right AFTER the CP+ show
  2. that this teaser is coming from an OM Ambassador and not from OM Digitial.

So this maybe some kind of non-product related announcement? Something like a special action from OM Ambassador or so. I would not get hyped about this…
