Following a rumors I posted many months ago a source told me Olympus has the tech for an impressive 1/32,000 electronic shutter. And that it should get featured inside the next E-m1 successor. The source didn’t share info about when the E-M1II may be announced…

Our source “Simon” said that Olympus will launch three new superfast prime lenses til end 2016. Those will be the:
12mm f/1.0
25mm f/1.0
50mm f/1.0

This is not an impossible rumor because we already spotted an official 12mm f/1.0 Olympus patent last year (article here)!

Just a short update on the GX7 successor. More sources told me that it’s indeed coming sometimes in may or June at max. I hope to get specs soon…

So far the only GX7 successor rumor I got says that it’s coming in May. No word from the source if this means we will get an announcement or the real shipment in May. Also specs are yet unknown. I hope my usual good sources can spill out some tidbits after reading this post. Thanks!

Just recently Olympus confirmed they are developing new fast lenses. On info we have about those lenses is the Olympus patent published last year. It shows three 12, 13 and 14mm f/1.0 lenses designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras. I hope we will nto have to wait too long to be able to buy one of those :)

I just got 99% fake Olympus roadmap. But the poor guy who did this made such an effort with his imagination that I thought it would be kind to post a FT1 rumor for once :)

P.S.: Quite many lenses from the roadmap I would certainly like to own!

It’s months now that we get rumors about a digital version of the [shoplink 35471 ebay]Olympus Trip 35 fixed lens camera (here on eBay)[/shoplink]. And we just got new tidbits from our source named “Simon”. He claims to know that indeed Olympus will launch such a camera: “good news they will bring a camera like the [shoplink 51754 ebay]Ricoh GR V[/shoplink]“.

The [shoplink 51754 ebay]Ricoh GR[/shoplink] is the most compact APS-C fixed lens camera yet and has a prime lens. If Olympus will manage to make it even more compact it could become a really nice cam!

I have no reliable info about the release date of the camera but I think we will not have to wait too much…
