Two months to go til Photokina and it will not take long until we will start to “rumor” about the new Olympus/Panasonic MFT cameras. And there could be also a Panasonic compact camera announcement on July 16 which could become very exciting (fixed lens FT sensor camera?). Loopinsight reports that Apple will kill Aperture. Apple told them:

“With the introduction of the new Photos app and iCloud Photo Library, enabling you to safely store all of your photos in iCloud and access them from anywhere, there will be no new development of Aperture,” said Apple in a statement provided to The Loop. “When Photos for OS X ships next year, users will be able to migrate their existing Aperture libraries to Photos for OS X.”

Adobe’s world domination is almost fulfilled. Not a good news if we lack of competition :(
