  • “Poor quality of new 14mm f2.5 lens?” bit of a very flawed argument from the original poster on dpreview

  • Greg

    C’mon, the 14mm f2.5 thread is two weeks old…

  • Greg

And Sam Bennet’s thread on DPR is & week old…

    • Greg

      1 week I mean…

Hi Greg! What matters is the content of the post not if it is new or old. Bye!

        • Greg

Well, sure yeah, to a certain extent at least ;)
The thing is, I think many people here are also following what’a happening in dpreview m43 forum as well. Anyway, thanks for your blog and keep up the god works! :D

    Thanks Admin.
I looked at the (yet another) interview with Mr. Terada. Nothing new there, but scrolling down to the bottom of the page I found a link to some E-5 test shots. Here: http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.onfoto.ru%2Fevent%2FPhotokina-2010%2F485.html
The two ISO6400 images look astonishingly clean. I suspect NR was turned on, but still. Very little chroma noise. Colour saturation at this sensitivity is also impressive.

Seems like a very slow camera news period anyway on all fronts — m43, Canikon, Sony, etc.

  • Henrik

This is offtopic and Im sorry for that but Admin, do you have any new rumours regarding the high-end compact from Olympus? Is the development something you will follow on this site?

    / Henrik

    • admin

Hi Henrik! I have no new rumor. But I will certainly follow the development. I guess we wills ee the real camera by end of February. Bye!

    • Greg

Yeah I have big hopes for this one too. These are times for buying lenses, not bodies.. The GH2 looks great but… but…too much plastic maybe?
