Note: This rumor has been posted first on the very new L-rumors.com website. This site will talk about rumors about all three companies involved in the new project: Leica, Sigma and Panasonic.

Like I told you yesterday Panasonic Full frame move has nothing to do with Four Thirds format, MFT or any collaboration with Olympus at all. That’s why I had to move forward and create L-rumors.com (“L” for L-mount).
Still it’s interesting to see the technical specifications of the new Panasonic FF camera because some aspects may be implemented on future MFT cameras too. So I will keep to post big Panasonic FF rumors on 43rumors.com. But all details and L-mount rumors from Leica and Sigma will be posted on L-rumors.com.
at 14:30 London time I will post the first specs and lens info I got about the new Panasonic FF system on L-rumors.com. And tomorrow some Sigma rumors too ;)

Next week we will have the big Photokina show and this is waht to expect and NOT to expect from companies:
Olympus:
No announcement. Their big gear like new High End OMD model and 12mm f/1.2 PRO will be announced in January
Sigma:
Sigma will announce the new 56mm f/1.4 MFT lens
Panasonic:
-Panasonic will announce a major firmware update for the G9-Gh5-Gh5s camera
-Panasonic will announce the development of a new Full Frame system camera and lenses: 42+ Megapixels, Leica SL mount, on market by March 2019

Note: original rumor on the new website named L-rumors.com!
This is HOT news folks! I can confirm with 100% certainty that three are the companies that will work closely together on the new Full Frame adventure: Leica, Panasonic and Sigma will announce a new partnership for the Full Frame system which is based on the Leica SL mount. So far it does not seem that Olympus is on board with them. But this might change later…
While it’s obvious that Leica and Panasonic will both make cameras and lenses it’s still unclear if Sigma will make SL cameras too. But I have been told this is a “deep” partnership and definitely much more than just making SL mount versions of current Sigma lenses. To me this sounds like Sigma is abandoning the SA mount…but that’s just my guess and I may be wrong on that.
About lenses: I have been told that all three companies understood lenses are the key to succeed. This means right from the start there will be many more lenses than you can have now with the Canon EOS-R and Nikon Z system.
I am working to get some more details. Stay tuned!
Because of this news I am going to launch a new website named L-rumors.com. I will keep posting hot rumors about Panasonics FF move on 43rumors for some time. But all detailed SL mount camera news will be posted on L-rumors.com from now on.

Panasonic G9 with Leica SL mount rendering. The new Panasonic FF camera is rumored to looke close to that
You have to not miss anything on 43rumors. Spread the Gospel because from what I am learning this announcement is much “deeper” than expected! My personal opinion is that this will have a bigger impact than the Canon EOS R and Nikon Z launch!
Join our Panasonic FF facebook group now…I will have to rename it soon ;)
