As you know OM Managers did release a couple of interviews that give us a hint about the future roadmap. In my video on top I made a quick summary and added one “teaser” for you ;)

What we will get in 2025&2026:

• New 50-150mm telephoto zoom lens (f/2.0?)
• new fast primes
• New PEN cameras
• a surprise ….this is a teaser for a future rumor post ;)

What is very unlikely to happen:

• OM Digital joining L-mount with a Full Frame OMD
• New High Resolution OM-1III

The YN455 MFT camera is perhaps one of the most underrated cameras on the market. In principle, it has features that no other camera on the market currently has. Yongnuo probably needs to insist on this concept and compensate for some of the current limitations.

The Narrow Band Channel shared a small insight about the PEN-FII and OM1x. He has been told by OM managers that the naming of the PEN-FII and OM1x have been “setup”. Don’t know what exactly that means but while I see a chance of a new PEN-FII happening and I am really not sure we will ever see a new OM1x body.
