Two trusted sources confirmed that Om Digital will announce the new OM-5 in July. I still have no specs but I have been told this is not the replacement of E-M5 Mark III. Easy to guess this will be an OM-1 minus some features and minus $$$ :)

I hope that OM Digital will be able to solve their production shortages with the OM-1 before the OM-5 comes out!

A New 43rds Sensor with Insanely Low Read Noise

It is no secret that I like my 43rds sensors. It seams to be the perfect size for just about everything that I do. Maybe it isn’t the perfect aspect ratio but that is a different topic. I found this sensor while reading about new tech and patents in the industry last year. It is an interesting sensor to say the least. Hope you find this interesting. Sensors have a long way to go before the shot noise limit is reached.
