According to rumors we received yesterday Panasonic will announce a new camera which will not be comparable with any camera released by Panasonic before. We are not talking about long awaited LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3 successor. The LX4 (or LX5) will be announced late July or before Photokina. And we are not talking about a camera with interchangeable lenses. The sources did not tell us exactly how it will look like but we from 43rumors believe it will be a MicroFourThirds camera with fixed lens (like the Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2)

The camera should be unveiled early July. We hope some of our sources can tell us more about that camera soon!

Olympus 14-150mm tested at SLRgear

SLRgear tested the new Olympus 14-150mm lens. They found the image quality to be very good. And like the other Olympus lenses it suffers from “some high chromatic aberration at certain focal lengths, but for the wide range of focal lengths the lens offers, it’s probably a small price to pay for the all-in-one versatility.”

According to Photorumors Panasonic could launch a new product by end of July. Photorumors says the LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3LX3 successor maybe will be released at the event.
43rumors already told you that the next Panasonic MFT cameras are going to be announced by end of September (the GH2 and the ultraslim MFT camera). It will be nice to see if the LX3 will become something like the Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2Sigma DP2 (MFT sensor with fixed lens)
