Good news from Europe. The new Panasonic GF2 is in Stock at Amazon.co.uk (Click here). In USA you can preorder the camera at Amazon US and Adorama and should be available soon.
Meanwhile the french website clubic.com tested the new Panasonic GF2 and the new 14mm and 12.5mm 3D lens. They posted lot of videos and image samples. They like the camera but do miss the manual controls from the GF1.
P.S.: As you know the GF1 has been discontinued so this is one of the very few deals that are ongoing now: BHphoto (Click here) has the GF1+14-42mm lens in Stock for $649 (Offer ends 01/29/2011).
That is a surprise! One of our very good sources just told us that Panasonic is developing a new 500mm mirror(reflex) tele lens! UPDATE: The source doens’t know if that lens will be announced within 2011. The picture I posted above shows the [shoplink 19263 ebay]Minolta 500mm reflex[/shoplink]. According to the source Panasonic is working with some of the minolta specialist that made that lens. The Panasonic version will have AF (autofocus), O.I.S. (in lens stabilization) and be smaller than the Minolta version. What I don’t know is if there is really a “market” for such a lens. That’s why I added a poll at the bottom of the post to ask you if you would be interested in buying such a lens. And if you know more about that lens drop us a line at 43rumors@gmail.com or use the contact form on the right sidebar. Thanks!
For reference:
– The Minolta 500mm lens is out of production. You can get it for $500-$700 at [shoplink 19263 ebay]eBay (Click here to see the current lens auctions)[/shoplink].

It’s Sunday and there are not many news today. If you have some time feel free to rate the Micro Four Thirds product we listed inide our product database. You can write a whole review and rate the camera/lenses. Also a rating alone (without review) would be fine :)
That will help new or future Micro Four Thirds camera owners to get and idea about the quality of those products. Remember, you have to be a registered 43rumros member.
