The Olympus E-P5 will be the first camera with the full “Olympus Pen” definition marked on the front. It’s a clear sign from Olympus that they consider the new E-P5 the real digital [shoplink 37006 ebay]PEN-F[/shoplink]. Too bad they forgot to made the built-in viewfinder that the PEN-F has :) As you know the PEN-F has “porro prism viewfinder” that allowed them to create a very compact camera with viewfinder.

Some of you said that the built-in exclusivity of the OMD range. Just for the record: Last year  Mr. Tarada told at Onfoto (Click here) that “A built-in viewfinder is not exclusive for the OM-D line”.

This is the new E-PL6 and as I told you before it’s meant to be solt in Japane only! I guess you will have to wait next year and the E-PL7 worldwide edition to replace your E-PL5.

There is no more secret left on the new E-P5 that is goint to be announced on Friday at 6am London time. Here are some new pictures of the three different colored models. This is the “Premium” E-P5 with super glossy grip :)

I now got the prices in YEN of the new Olympus Black Lenses:

The 17mm f/1.8 will ship in September for 62,475 yen
The 45mm f/1.8 will ship in June for 36,750 yen
The 75mm f/18 will also ship in June for 124,950 yen

I checked the YEN prices of the Silver Lenses at Amazon Japan. The Black Lenses will have the same official price of the Silver counterpart. Of course you can now find the Silver lenses for a cheaper price here and there. But that’s because they are no on market for a longer time. Examples:
