After the 20mm pancake DxO (Click here) also tested the new Panasonic 14-140mm lens. And in that case we have good news to report. The new version if the lens is not only lighter, faster and cheaper than its predecessor, it also deliver a clearly better optical performance. Nice!
Today only you can grab the Panasonic G5 with kit lens for $299 at Amazon US (Click here) and at BHphoto (Click here). And also running today only: Plenty of accessory Gold Box deals at Amazon (Click here).
Six E-M1 are in Stock for the regular price at Amazon via Uniquephoto (Click here).

M43.eu (google translation here) posted the first website to post a full Panasonic 12-32mm lens review. As you know Panasonic claims that this is the best standard kit zoom of all mirrorless system (with standard they mean not “premium” zooms). And according to their test results Panasonic completely fulfills the promise. The lens is way better than the Olympus 12-50mm lens! If you consider the size of the Panasonic lens this is an incredible achievement. I would like Panasonic to sell the lens separately from the GM1 so that also current PEN or G camera owners can buy it!

Dxomark (Click here) just tested the new Panasonic 20mm II lens and it’s a bit disappointing to see that the lens performs a tiny bit worse than the predecessor. Obviously the difference is negligible but Panasonic could have taken the chance to slightly improve the optical performance. DxO writes:
In reality, the Panasonic Lumix G 20mm f1.7 II ASPH performs very slightly differently to the original. It’s still an excellent lens, but it’s not quite the performer of it illustrious forebear.

Someone at Mobile01.com posted this picture of the soon to be released Leica-Panasonic Nocticron 42,5mm f/1.2 MFT lens on the Panasonic GX7. I hope the person will soon share some image samples taken with that combo. It looks like a beast of a lens that makes even the GX7 look too small and unbalanced.
The Nocticron will be released in early 2014. Price is still unknown. For comparison only: A Full Frame Canon 85mm f/1.2 lens costs around $2,200 ay Amazon (Click here). Hope the Nocticron will cost much much much less!
P.S. For German readers: Gold Box deal on the Olympus E-PM2 (Click here)!!!
