Gizmodo Japan posted some cool pics of a Panasonc GH4 on a producion set. And another picture can be found at CineVateINC.

Sandisk announced the new Extreme Pro SDHC/SDXC UHS-II cards with 250MB/s write speed and 280MB/s read speed. Perfect for your GH4! Found via Engadget.

DSLRmagazine (translation here) met Panasonic chief engeneer Inoue. He confirmed the GH4 EVF is a lot better than the one used by the GH3 and that has been also achieved thanks of the use of aspherical lenses on the EVF.

Samyang will (finally) make autofocus lenses!

Share

.
I really like Samyang because they make some great and cheap (in terms of price) lenses. So it’s good to hear that they will soon make autofocus lenses too! According to Photorumors they will also launch their new company logo the coming days (image on top).

The real one thing they still have to fix are the many different brand names they use to sell their lenses! eBay links to all different branded Samyang lenses:
[shoplink 20647 ebay]Samyang [/shoplink], [shoplink 20684 ebay]Walimex [/shoplink], [shoplink 20649 ebay]Rokinon [/shoplink], [shoplink 20650 ebay]Opteka [/shoplink], [shoplink 20651 ebay]Falcon [/shoplink], [shoplink 20653 ebay]Vivitar [/shoplink] and[shoplink 20652 ebay]Bower [/shoplink].

Damn confusing :)

Official Olympus PRESS text:

Hamburg, February 12 2014 – Olympus is pleased to announce the development of two new lenses in the M.ZUIKO PRO series: the wide-angle zoom lens M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 7-14mm 1:2.8 PRO and the super telephoto lens M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm 1:4 PRO.

Both lenses conform to the Micro Four Thirds system standard. Their mock-ups* will be shown at the Camera & Photo Imaging Show CP+ starting Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Japan. With to these two additional lenses the M.ZUIKO PRO series will cover the entire range from super wide angle to super telephoto.

Availability of all four M.ZUIKO PRO lenses

The first interchangeable lens of this series, the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-40mm 1:2.8 PRO is already available while its successor, the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 40-150mm 1:2.8 PRO, is scheduled to go on sale in the second half of 2014.
