How should the E-M5 successor be to make you buy it?

Share

Last week Olympus confirmed the E-M5 successor is “coming soon”. I think it’s going to be tricky for Olympus to position it “right”. Of course it should be better than the E-M5 and more advanced than the E-M10. But can/should it be better than the E-M1 flagship?

Let us know dear readers what you would like to see on the new E-M6! I want a 4 million dot EVF, new 3 layer sensor, faster AF in low light…

P.S.: I will collect your suggestion and features list and sum them up in a POLL to be posted the coming days. Will be nice to see what 43rumors leader want!

After two years of development the first three Digital Bolex C-mount lenses have been announced. These can work with adapter on MFT cameras too as stated on their website:

The Kish Optics/Digital Bolex Series 1 Super16mm Primes are fixed aperture F4 lenses fine-tuned to the optical sweet spot of each lens. C-mounted for native use with the Digital Bolex D16 camera, these lenses will cover sensors from 16mm to M43, and can be used on traditional C-mount 16mm motion picture cameras.

43rumros Steve sent me that picture from the Photo Festa 2014. You see the Olympus 300mm f/4.0 size compared to the [shoplink 48604 ebay]Canon (here on eBay)[/shoplink] and [shoplink 48605 ebay]Nikon (here on eBay)[/shoplink] lenses. That’s the price and size you pay for Full Frame lenses :)

And also DC.watch posted some pics of the event. So here they are:

UPDATE: I corrected the ebay links ot the Canon and Nikon 600mm (and not 300mm) lenses.
