Kern Paillard Pizar 26mm f/1.9 test on the GH4.

Annie Barton tested the [shoplink 56744 ebay]Kern Paillard Pizar 26mm f/1.9 lens (here one Bay)[/shoplink] on the Panasonic GH4:

“This is a handheld video footage. Its motion inconsistency makes the viewing a lot less comfortable, and the focusing at f1.9 does not make it any easier. We need more practices, either that or we need to get a rig.”

Epson’s world’s best 4.4M dot EVF mass production started. Could find his way in future MFT cameras.

Share

As reported on Mirrorlessrumors Epson started the mass production of their new 4.4 MP electronic viewfinder. While officially not confirmed the new Epson EVF should be used by the Leica SL. It’s highly likely that both Olympus and Panasonic will sue the same EVF on some of their future MFT cameras. Maybe on the E-M1II and GH5?

The new Epson EVF is the highest resolution EVF ever used by a camera. And here is the full spec table posted by Epson Japan:

Jurek:When Panasonic released their V-Log L update for the GH4, “Sturm und Drang” erupted on all sides, with doom laden accounts of the demise of an electronics manufacturing giant. It was a failure, people cried rip off. For me, it’s the opposite. Having spent a little time experimenting, I’m excited by the prospects this feature brings to the GH4’s image making process. Hope you enjoy. https://vimeo.com/147546148
