(FT3) Is Panasonic going to launch the new GH5s low light killer camera?

A new source “E…” sent me this weeks ago:

I got info about the upcoming Panasonic GH5s. Possible launch date in either January of February 2018, an ultra video oriented low light GH5 version. The only specs I was told are, state of the art video functions, improved low light performance and a higher launch price compared to the GH5.

I don’t know yet if that’s the camera that will be announced in mid December. Because from trusted sources I know that’s when Panasonic will have an announcement.

A while ago another source told me this before the G9 launch:

“They are trying to follow sony with the A7 series.
So Flavours of GH5.

GH5 for Stills
GH5 Low Light etc

Not sure if they all will be announced at the same time.”

(FT5) Panasonic “secret” big event is planed for December 15

I told you yesterday that Panasonic will announce “something big”. The new info I got is that there is an event on December 15. So we should expect tos see this new product around that day (+/- 1 day depending on your time zone).

I still don’t know for sure what this might be. But definitely it’s something related to Micro Four Thirds and to something BIG. Which means we will not just get a new lens or entry-level camera. But something more High End!
