A Landscape Photographer’s Review of the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II

Once every few years or so a camera comes out that takes everyone by surprise by really pushing the boundaries of what we generally expect from a camera, both in terms of specs and features. For 2016/2017 the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II was that camera. I’m a bit late with a review, but I’ve only fairly recently been able to get my hands on the E-M1 Mark II, so better late than never!

Panasonic GH5s is approved by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for high definition content acquisition!

Newsshooter reports that renowned camera tester Alan Roberts has released his EBU assessment of the Panasonic GH5s. What is that EBU test? Newsshooter explains:

To help maintain acceptable levels of quality in European (U)HDTV programme-making, the EBU has specified a series of measurements that will reveal a camera’s ability to produce high-quality television pictures.

The conclusion:

The GH5s has passed the European Broadcasting Union R.118 camera tests, and is approved by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for high definition content acquisition!
