I just released this short Addison’s Disease awareness documentary, shot mostly on GH5 with Leica 12-60mm and 100-400mm in Lofoten islands, Norway.

Some complementary biking footage was shot in Jotunheimen with GX80 and 100-400mm. All footage except the timelapses were shot handheld without any rigs or gimbals. I used a DJI Mavic Pro for the drone shots. We spent 3 days in Lofoten for the primary shoot. I captured all of the biking shots from the trunk of our rental Prius, some of those close-ups I shot at 800mm equiv. in 4K 50p and autofocus on the GH5.

The new Nissin MG10 wireless flash has arrived and it packs 165Ws of power output and a guide number of 262′ at ISO 100 and 200mm. Those are big numbers for a handheld, self-powered flash unit. Recycle time is 1.5 seconds. With a zoom coverage of 24-200mm, and a wider 18mm throw available when using the attached diffuser panel, the head can be rotated left and right 180° and can be pointed straight up with 90° of bend. This unit also incorporates an 8W LED modeling light, so you can preview your coverage and shadows. High-speed sync up to 1/8000 of a second is also provided. Powered by 8 AA batteries, the MG10 has a tripod socket at its neck for fixed-position mounting.

The MG10 is also fully compatible with the Nissin Air System (NAS), which allows the flash to work with the Wireless Air 10s TTL Commander and they are available together, as a kit. Featuring a 328′ range, the Commander can control the TTL exposure, power, and zoom of up to 8 groups of other Nissin flashes, over 8 different channels. Compatible with Canon, Fujifilm, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon, and Sony, the Nissin MG10 and Air 10s Commander combine to bring powerful lighting setups to your studio or location shoot.

(FT5) Confirmed: New Olympus super high end camera will be launched in very early 2019!

Finally I can give you good news: Highly trusted sources confirmed Olympus new super high end camera is a real thing and it will be on market by early 2019. They confirmed the new camera will outperform the E-M1II. They also said Olympus is unlikely to tease this camera at Photokina.

We have no specs yet but there are three possibilities:

1) This is the new E-M5III. But I wonder if Olympus would relley make this camera outperform the E-m1II (it would kill the camera sales)

2) This is a new kind of Micro Four Thirds camera. Maybe more video oriented.

3) This is a camera with new sensor format

I hope sources can tell me soon which of the three options it is…
