GF3 with X kit for $379.

Panasonic may don’t know yet how to define the new G camera roadmap but at that price even the current G cameras are a hot deal. Today you have the chance to grab the GF3 with X zoom for $379 at BuyDig (Click here).

As I told you before the new GF camera should be announced in Spring and not be that much different from the current GF5. Small improvements on sensor and autofocus is what we can expect. But it will also be much more expensive than the current GF3-5 cameras.

Olympus deals reminder:

Going Out of Business Sale continues…

  • The lens showed in the image looks much more like an 14/2.5 than an X zoom.

    • Jw

Yes, and the link to sale seems to be the non power zoom.

So expect to pay HIGHER for what the inexpensive E-PM2 & E-PL5 already offer. PLUS IBIS, which is apparently a no-no for Panny.

Another sad chapter for a defunct company…

Yes, Panasonic is a defunct company. Makes sense.

      inexpensive e-pl5 ??

And how about olympus puts OIS instead of IBIS ?

Redefine G series need true breakthrough in the cameras development . Pana need to have new generation sensor to acheive the redefining process .
The long await L style camera is a must , whether is GX or above it , it will definitely win back people’s heart .
Come on , Pana , let’s make it happen in this 2013 .

stop complaining .. lot of great camera’s for very good price
Instead of waiting for the new models, I just got GX1+ 20/1.7 at b&h, and will wait for next black friday for something like GH3 or OMD for 800$ body..GX2 or EP5 will also be great.

I’m sure that on next november when I back here for updates I will find lots of you stil waiting for the next generation model ..
Enjoy it while u can ,I’m out shooting my new GX1 :)

Does “small improvement” mean they aren’t going to put the GH3 sensor in the GF cameras? I don’t see how they can do that when Oly is putting the Sony sensor in all their lines. If that were the case, the new GF’s would be grossly inferior to Oly’s similarly priced offering, and they’d offer no significant upside over the much cheaper Panny’s of the previous generation.
