FAKE RUMORS: Olympus will NOT quit the camera business within 8 months :)

It is total instability now in camera division, in various countries people are running and looking for new positions.
Lot of rumors and talks that we can hear sudden closure press release within January-March time.
Some talks are that development team and some equipment can be picked either by Sony or Samsung.

Just to be 100% clear on my side:

This is 100% NOT TRUE: Every single Olympus source I have (from EU to US to Japan) laughed at this “news”.

UPDATE: This isn’t the first time those rumors go around the web. Back in March we had the same rumor which was directly debunked by Olympus. So dear readers, get used to it. It’s simply very “attractive” for sites to make such news over and over again :)

The Olympus E-PL10 will be launched in Europe on November 20

Weeks ago Olympus launched the E-PL10 on the Asian markets. According to our sources this camera will now be launched in Europe too on November 20.

And an interesting news: Apparently they plan to sell it exclusively online through Olympus webshop in 2 kits : body only 599€ and 14-42EZ kit 699€!

Just a reminder that the E-M5III and the E-PL10 will be announced in 48 hours. The full E-M5III specs can be read here.

I have heard of no new lens yet and I also got no info about a possible Panasonic MFT product announcement. It might be that after the Olympus announcement we are done with new products for 2019. The next major new products are likely to be announced in February 2020.
