Based mostly on my rumors they made this 2021 prediction. I also think the GH6 will be the big hit of the year. JIP will likely release the cameras and lenses Olympus has developed so far. My dream is to get the new PEN-FII….fingers crossed!

Sharp has published this image of the 8K Micro Four Thirds camera they presented over a year ago. Sharp writes that this cameras is still “under development”.

These are the first images of the new Laowa 10mm F2.0 C&D-Dreamer lens. Price should be around 300 Euro/Dollars.

Two details make it likely that the new Olympus 150-400mm PRO lens will cost $7,499:

1. If you go on this BHphoto search page you will find that BH only find the lens if you set the price at $7,499.
2. Our reader John spotted this: The lease life shows that the lens would cost you $9600 over the term of the lease.  If you back out the interest cost on the lease, it brings the price of the lens down to $7500.

Announcement tomorrow?

Oly Forum will hold a live chat with Olympus tomorrow at 19:00 Berlin time. They teased that there will be info about something that is now still “confidential”.

This is the first image of the new “SUPER NOKTON 29ｍｍ F0.8 Aspherical” lens. It will be announced tomorrow and have a price around 2,000 Dollars/Euro

One source (Thanks!) sent us this screenshot with details about the new Olympus 150-400mm f/4.5 lens:

• The lens will cost 880.000 YEN (7000 Euro with tax included!)
• Shipment start on January 21

I do hope the pricing is a typo. It really makes no sense at all! I hope sources reading this post will send me the real price info :)

Folks this is simply stunning! This news alone may keep the Micro Four Thirds system alive and kicking :)

Nokishita reports that Voigtlander-Cosina will soon announce the new SUPER NOKTON 29ｍｍ f/0.8 Aspherical Micro Four Thirds lens! As far as I can recall this would be the fastest production photography lens of the world beating the (low quality) Ibelux f/0,85. The only faster lenses are actually made for X-ray or other industrial use (see them on ebay).

Knowing Voigtlander I am sure this lens will offer a surprisingly decent image quality at max aperture. Can’t wait to see how big this lens is too! Stay tune on 43rumors for more info soon!
