Latest rumors do say that the Samsung NX-10 could be announced a little later than expected (final announcement on January 10?). The camera was expected to be announced in December. Let’s see what happens!

“I got more updates of NX10.

1. Samsung will start teaser ad. in next week in Korea.
2. Samsung will announce AND launch NX10 in next several weeks.
NX10 will be launched into the world market at the same time.

3. Some NX10s have been delivered / will be delivered to camera review websites/magazines.
They are asked to zip their lips until the official announcement.
4. Samsung keep working on stabilizing the firmware.

NX10 has an interesting feature.

It has burst mode. (Up to 30 shots with 7 fps). It seems to be similar feature with K20D’s, I guess. But I didn’t hear how it works.“

We have no specs about that camera, but we know that a new DMC-FP1 compact camera is coming soon (January?). Why should that camera be interesting? The camera (FT3) could be the first to use the new Panasonic backlight sensor!

“This is a rock climbing video I shot entirely with the GF1 and 20mm pancake this weekend. It was shot in full manual focus mode without any Image Stabilization. I think this really shows the potential of the GF1 and the 20mm pancake lens as video devices.

In an Interview with Lenstip Mr. Lee (Director of Sales & Marekting Samyang Optics) confirmed that they will produce the two lenses for FourThirds mount (no word about MicroFourThirds)
“LensTip.com: Do you plan to introduce lenses with the 4/3 mount?
Mr. Lee: We are currently adding this mount to 85mm and 8mm products. They will be released in 1st quarter of 2010. 4/3 mount will be available for all future products. ”
