OM Digital just confirmed a product announcement for February 15th in their teaser video posted today (watch it below). You can register here: https://omds.idloom.events/omsystem. I am sure they will announce the new O-M1!

The O-M1 is rumored to feature following specs:

• 20mp IMX472 sensor from Sony (You can download the PDF here).
• 120fps 12-bit RAW DCI
• 4K60P 10-bit 4:2:2
• Improved AF tracking
• astro tracking
• price slightly above $2,000
• shipment start in March

I don’t know if you just saw the last the “Easter eggs” that have been publishing in the Youtube channel of Lumix Camera with Sean.
In the video live of “LUMIX Live : Remote Workflow with Matt Frazer” there is a binary code that leads to the wikipedia page of “eastern eggs”

For a long time we didn’t get any new MFT camera, now we will get two TOP models in one month :)

The O-M1 is rumored to be announced on February 15th and feature following specs:

Weibo user CarrodRen claims to know that

1. The new OM-D camera will be unveiled on February 15th
2. The camera wills till have the name “Olympus” on it
3. The new camera name should be named “OM-1” according to PR.

I still have no reliable specs on the new OMD camera that will be announced on February 24th. All I got from “other” sources is that it might uses a new 24mp BSI non-stacked sensor. Sounds odd the camera uses a “non-stacked” sensor. Moreover Sony has a 21MP stacked fT sensor ready for use:

Don’t know what sense it would make to go for a 24mp non stacked sensor…
