(FT5) Next Olympus PRO lens is the 17mm f/1.2


The current Olympus 25mm f/1.2 is in Stock at [shopcountry 64545].

We heard from soid sources that Olympus will definitey launch at elast one (and maybe even two) new PRO lenses. One of the lenses will be the 17mm f/1.2 PRO! Save your money guys….

E-M10III and a new f/1.2 PRO lens to be probably announced together


E-M1II vs E-M10II at CameraSize

I got a small update on the rumor I posted the last week. Indeed it seems like Olympus delayed their original plan to release the new E-M10III in July. The camera is now more likely to be announced in late August-early September. The additional news I forgot is that it’s now also highly likely Olympus will announce at least one new f/1.2 PRO prime lens too.

(FT4) UPDATE: Olympus E-M10III to be released few weeks later than previously expected

UPDATE: We now got some clear sign that the E-M10III will be announced a few weeks later than expected. This means August/early September is now the more likely timing. The camera is still rumored to have a 16Mp sensor and 4K video.

(FT4) Olympus has no plan to release a big sensor fixed lens camera this year

The past years Olympus worked on a digital [shoplink 35471 ebay]Trip[/shoplink] fixed lens big sensor camera. But I have been told by a trusted source that this kind of camera will certainly not be released this year. While I got no word about the reason behind that decision I guess that Olympus sees little chance to make a deal breaker in this segment dominated by Sony and Panasonic.
