I received the Full High Resolution images of the new E-M10III. Click on the thumbnails to see them. The camera will be announced within 48 hours (probably August 31 at 6-7am London time).

I also want to remind you once again that the new 17mm and 45mm f/1.2 PRO lenses will be announced in October! I know many of you are patiently waiting to get them but you have to wait a bit more. It also seems that the fourth f/1.2 prime (12mm) will be released in 2018 only.

(FT4) Olympus has two separate announcements: One this week and one in October!

Here on 43rumors we shared as first the full E-M10III specs and images. And also as first the info about the four new lenses. Today I have another major information to share:

A trusted source told me there will be two separate announcements:

  1. This week on August 31 Olympus will announce the E-M10III
  2. But the 17mm f/1.2 and 45mm f/1.2 will be announced in October.
  3. Still unclear when the new 12mm f/1.2 and the new zoom will be announced

(FT5) The new Olympus zoom is “high end”

Olympus will announce four new lenses. Of three of them I have the specs (12mm 17mm and 45mm f/1.2). But all I know from the fourth lens is that this is a “high end zoom” lens.

Hope sources reading this can give me som more info. Thanks :)

Opteka 6.5mm f/2 MFT lens to be unveiled soon

Opteka recently announced the development of five new MFT lenses. The first MFT lens will be 6.5mm f/2 HD Multi-Coated Circular Fisheye Lens. Those are the specs:

6 elements in 5 groups
9 aperture blades
1.9” (0.05m) minimum focus distance

Opteka currently sells some lenses for the FT and MFT system on Amazon US, Amazon DE and Amazon UK. But those lenses were originally designed for DSLR and later adapted.
