UPDATE: A couple of readers who tested the firmware said this is not working as told by Never Prod. meaning there is no improvement at all. So there is no evidence yet the project is…”serious”.

After two years of development the first three Digital Bolex C-mount lenses have been announced. These can work with adapter on MFT cameras too as stated on their website:
The Kish Optics/Digital Bolex Series 1 Super16mm Primes are fixed aperture F4 lenses fine-tuned to the optical sweet spot of each lens. C-mounted for native use with the Digital Bolex D16 camera, these lenses will cover sensors from 16mm to M43, and can be used on traditional C-mount 16mm motion picture cameras.
