Matti Sulanto: Micro Four Thirds Is Not Well –Some Thoughts Why That Is

My personal take on this: Yes it’s tire that MFT is struggling. We had few new product announcement, few “wow” moments the past two years and a big disappointment (Olympus selling the business).
But cameras like the Lumix G9II have the potential to bring back some trust. We now need OM Digital to deliver on it’s promises too. I do believe there is an unique value in the portability of this system. Something you cannot find in any other mirrorless system!

Let me know in the comment system what your opinion is on this!

Curiosity: Film cameras and even super 8 are enjoying a revival

As I reported on Mirrorlessrumors (here, here and here) the market for film cameras are booming. So much that for example my Mamiya 7 had a plus 50% raise in value. I am not sure yet but I think also Olympus film cameras are highly requested. Sometimes I wonder if it would make sense for OM Digital to make a new modern film camera again. And Panasonic could even think about making an L-mount film camera or not?

Or is all of this just a temporary hype?
