Today the store “dstebattery” sent out that info: “Very sorry sir,before we sent the battery to you,our colleagues in the inspection department find that this battery can’t charged by your original charger,but can put the battery into your camera charged by AC adapter,or use our Brand charger.The battery work well in camera,can show battery level. In order to solve the problem, we can give you a $8.99 charger for free ([shoplink 30722 ebay]battery is on eBay (Click here)[/shoplink]).”

It’s really disturbing to learn about that kind of limitation AFTER having purchased the battery. As soon as some of you got the batteries let us know if it really works fine. Would be useful for 43rumors readers to learn if we can trust these third party battery resellers or not! Thanks!

There is a worldwide PEN price drop (and GH2 with lens for $745)

ePhotozine (Click here) reports that Olympus UK lowered the price of their complete PEN range. As you know there is also a rebate in USA. I haven’t heard of a new PEN camera announcement any time soon. But what I know that the competion is becoming tuffer and even Canon is going to release a mirrorless system “almost as good as DSLR” suggesting they will use a Four Thirds sized sensor like in the Canon G1X (via MirrorlessRumors).
