I confess, I bought three Olympus E-P1 cameras in almost 2 months! And for those being worried that I am might causing a price increase don’t worry. There are dozens of m43 camera auctions ending every day!

Wow, the GH2 is finally in Stock in US and they already have the first $50 price drop on the GH2 with 14-140mm lens at Amazon (Click here). And for those of you looking for the body only option there is one third party dealer selling the camera for $899 at Amazon (Click here and scroll down to “Midwest” dealer). P.S.: Those price drops are not realted with a possible GH3 release. I don’t expect the GH3 to be announced within 2011!!!

UPDATE: There is a 20% price drop on the GH2 at Amazon UK (Click here). That’s an interesting price for all European readers because it’s exactly 1.200 Euro and much cheaper than the best price I found in Germany (which is 1.430 Euro). Yes, you can buy it without any problem at Amazon UK even if you are not from UK!

You might have noticed that the popular Panasonic 20mm pancake is out of Stock in all biggest US stores: Amazon, Adorama, B&H, J&R. Can’t explain why! The upcoming 25mm f/1.4 Leica will certainly not replace that lens! Maybe Panasonic has some production issues?

While waiting for the new E-P3, US stores are running some deals on the “old” E-P2. At BHphoto (Click here) you can get the external flash for free when purchasing the E-P2 with lens. The total price is $653.

Also the GF2 is going to be replaced and that’s why there is a $100 instant rebate on the GF2+14-42mm kit at Amazon (Click here), BHphoto (Click here) and  J&R (Click here).

There have been a sensible price drop on the Panasonic 100-300mm lens. You can get it for $521 at Amazon (Click here).

I just noticed that they are now available on [shoplink 22540 ebay]eBay (Click here)[/shoplink]. For some reason I didn’t figure out the same lens is available in two different “codes”:

– The Holga “HLW-OP” is specifically branded as lens for Olympus lens ([shoplink 22540 ebay]Click here to see them on eBay[/shoplink]).
– The Holga “HLW-PLG” os specificall sold as lens for Panasonic G cameras ([shoplink 22541 ebay]Click here to see them on eBay[/shoplink]).

But they have the same specs so I think that it is just marketing making the difference here!
