(FT5) The Olympus E-5 has indeed some “never seen before” features!

Dear readers.
I had a very long talk with three sources about the upcoming E-5. The information we posted yesterday do only contain the less “spectacular” information. The three sources (they don’t know each other) told me that the Olympus E-5 has some features that you have never seen before into any DSLR! As you can imagine the work with sources is very “delicated” and they cannot give me the informations now. But they wanted to let you know that you should wait for the E-5 camera to be announced and you will certainly not be disappointed! Olympus has invented something that others will copy in the following years…

I will try to let you know some of those features as soon as I can! And my fifth sense tells me that you don’t have to wait a long time

About Panasonic Olympus and more. I am starting to get some very reliable infos. So keep an eye on 43rumors. You won’t be dispappointed!

Seems like the party is about to start! And if Panasonic completely unexpected reveals a L1+ (or any other 43 camera), than ….. well I do not know ….

Glad to hear it! I’m not suprised at all. Oly has delivered some great innovations that are now the status quo. If they want to stay competitive with Cannikon they’ll have to keep that up.

I am really curious about the specs…
even though i switched to MFT…..I will always love the pro dslrs E-1 and E-3

Will it have the name E-5?

Is that 100% sure now?
If that’s the case, than this is an evolutionary successor.

Rather the name would have been something else, if the product would be revolutionary.

I’m fine with an E-5 however.

I really hope it’s something useful rather than just PDAF during video or some other geeky feature. A nifty manual focusing aid would be nice, or a X0.5 converter for some of the lenses. Anyway, it’s a whole month before photokina and it’s hard to contain the excitement (especially considering the 18 months since Olympus released a substantial new 4/3 product).
