(FT2) The additional Panasonic GF1 specs ?
I just checked all my rumor sources and I have some additional specs for you:
-LCD moniter 960*RGB*540 (HITACHI displays which is an affiliate
company of Panasonic)
-Image Sensor 12Mpixels LiveMOS. Global shutter. Multi aspect.
-AVCHD 1080p 60fps 17Mbps(30fps 24Mbps)
-Dimensions/Weight 138x95x33mm/293g(contains battery)
-color variation Titanium(titanium coating)/Carbon Black(carbon
fiber)/Midnight Purple
The image leaks are probably real images but I am waiting for some confirmation from our bigger sources!
UPDATE: I downgraded the rumor value from FT3 to FT2. I am waiting for some confirmation from other sources…

3 years ago |Can that be right … a global shutter on a CMOS sensor??? Most are Rolling Shutter.

3 years ago |those measurements (138×95x33mm) also seem really off. way to big.

3 years ago |The GF1 says AVCHD Lite on the body which means it’s 720p. No 1080p. So the rest of those specs are dubious.

3 years ago |The quoted bit rates for the 1080p video are lower than that of 720p… highly improbable.

3 years ago |what about the sensor? is it the backlit one?
the EVF will be sold separately as the connector can be seen above the hot shoe.
and when is Panasonic starts using AMOLED?
the Global shutter doesn’t sound real to me, as well the size.
but in the end i like it more than the EP-1.

3 years ago |CMOS can have a global shutter. It requires a second transistor for each photosite to store charge simultaneously across the whole sensor. Afterward, the secondary transistors are read in the normal rolling shutter manner.
