(FT1) Panasonic GF2 on google
One of our readers sent a screenshot from a google search result that shows a Panasonic GF2 Amazon advertising. The reader reported that when he clicked on the link he landed on the following GF1 Amazon page
We from 43rumors heard from our sources that Panasonic is working on an ultracompact GF model but we have no confirmation yet that such a model will be announced at Photokina. What we know for sure is that Panasonic has postponed the GH2 announcement on September 21th.

2 years ago |This is a common online marketing tactic. You’ll notice that when you search for “panasonic gf2″, which no doubt many of us continue to do, you’ll see only one google ad.
When a new product is imminent, there is a brief period where no one is fighting over the keyword for pay-per-click (ppc) advertising. So Amazon is getting traffic for .05 per click.
Eventually, the GF2 will come out, and the keyword will be saturated by reseller, and the price of ppc will go up.
Come to think of it, 43Rumors.com could take advantage of this too. Create a few “Looking for the GF2?” ads and lead them to your blog. You’ll pay .05-.10 to introduce a new camera nerd to your site!
BTW, I’m still waiting for the Panasonic announcement that you heard was going to happen yesterday. Any update on that?
