And the Panasonic press conference Panasonic underlined their intention to continue to develop both their systems. And certainly the new 10-25mm f/1.7 MFT lens is a solid prove they are not joking around on this!

The lens is displayed at the Photokina behind a thick glass only. You cannot touch it nor use it mounted on any MFT camera.

Sigma announced the new 56mm f/1.4 MFT lens. There is yet no info about the price at BHphoto.

Olympus is the only major company not having announced any new product at this years Photokina. Granted you could actually count in Sony too if they would not consider the 24mm GM lens they announced the last week. And Ricoh-Pentax at least announced the GRIII development.

But big news is coming in January with a new OMD camera to be announced!
