Fuji says 1/3 of the market is FF and 2/3 APS-C and MFT

It’s interesting to know that only two companies are not going Full Frame: Olympus and Fuji. And Fuji clearly said why:

In a recent interview released at Imaging Resource Fuji said that only 1/3 of the system camera market is Full Frame. 2/3 is APS-C and MFT.

Also interesting: They disagree with Canon’s prediction, that ILC business is going to contract by half over the next two years.

Having done all my other projects in HD or UHD, I decided to take a look at what Cinema 4K offers (I know, late to the party). I shot footage at both 23.98 and 24p, and while I can’t quantify the reason, I definitely prefer the latter. Although the test shows some weakness, in particular the handling of the large LCD screens in Penn Station, I really like the wider aspect ratio of C4K, and overall I’m very happy with the results. Not something I would consider for paid gigs unless requested, but for personal anamorphic projects, looking forward to shooting a lot more footage.”
