(FT5) First Olympus E-M1III specs info: It’s an E-M1X without the built-in grip!
The image above is the first leaked piece of image of the new E-m1III
Two sources confirmed the E-M1III will be announced in mid February. The first sources told me the E-m1III is a sort of E-m1X without the grip. The second source shared few more details:
– Has one more joystick
– Same battery as E-M1II
– New processor
– Can do Handheld High Resolution shots

Both Olympus and Panasonic system camera shares increased in Japan
At last some good news: Both Olympus and Panasonic managed to increase their Japanese system camera market share in December (Source: BCNranking):
- Canon leads with 33,6% but shares dropped
- Nikon took the second spot with 19,2%
- Sony share dropped down to 17,5% and they are now behind Nikon
- Olympus share raised up to 16,1%
- Fuji share dropped a bit to 6,9%
- Panasonic share raised up to 5,9%
