Next week on February 12 Olympus will announce the new E-M1III and this new 12-45mm f/4.0 lens.
According to our sources this lens delivers a very high quality. Similar (if not a touch better) than the 12-100mm f/4.0 PRO lens.
What worries me a bit is that it appears we might not get any new about the 150-400mm PRO lens. This lens is scheduled to start shipping in Summer only :(

Panasonic published the full Q3 financial report. There is little talk about the camera business. All they said is that sales decreased due to “sluggish sales of digital cameras mainly in Europe“.
Panasonic never shares exact numbers like camera and lens sales. So all we can deduct from this is they didn’t meat their target.
