(FT5) Olympus has registered a new Micro Four Thirds lens in Russia!

Today Olympus registered a new Micro Four Thirds lens in Russia. It has the code “IM022”. This might be the 100-400mm lens that is on the roadmap.
Anyway, this is a good day because we now have both Panasonic and Olympus ready to announce new products:
1) Panasonic will announce the vlogger oriented G100 on June 24
2) Olympus will announce another new MFT lens within 1-2 months
MFT ain’t so dead after all ;)

Olympus PEN E-PL10 review at Dpreview: “doesn’t do as much to stand out amongst its peers

Olympus E-PL10 at BHphoto.
Dpreview published the full E-PL10 review and concluded:
The Olympus PEN E-PL10 is a compact, entry-level camera that’s good at many things. It offers some beginner-friendly tools, though they don’t lend themselves to growth as a photographer. Both photo and image quality are good, and the camera is responsive, but it doesn’t do as much to stand out amongst its peers.
Yep, they aren’t really enthusiastic about this new camera. It’s time for Olympus to gives us a new PEN-F with new high resolution sensor :)
