Will the Olmypus 150-400mm PRO lens be announced around November 20 at the “Wild Bird Photo” event?
Dclife believes the new Olympus 150-400mm PR lens will be announced around November 20 at the “Olympus Wild Bird Photo” event. An evidence is also the fact that Olympus has a livestream event scheduled for November 20 4am Tokyo time (November 19 US time):
Photographer Brooke Bartleson will talk at this event and she is known to be often part of Olympus product launch videos.

Panasonic financial report: Profits and forecast improved. New announcement on November 5th (for S gear)
Panasonic released the full Q2 financial report (PDF file here). There is no info about the camera business but the company as a whole is doing very well. The camera business is incorporated in the “Appliances” segment. All they say there is that the recovery trend is continuing.
Panasonic is expected to have announce the new 85mm f/1.8 S lens on November 5th. There is likely going to be no info about possible future MFT products :(
