Two details make it likely that the new Olympus 150-400mm PRO lens will cost $7,499:
- If you go on this BHphoto search page you will find that BH only find the lens if you set the price at $7,499.
- Our reader John spotted this: The lease life shows that the lens would cost you $9600 over the term of the lease. If you back out the interest cost on the lease, it brings the price of the lens down to $7500.

Oly Forum will hold a live chat with Olympus tomorrow at 19:00 Berlin time. They teased that there will be info about something that is now still “confidential”.

One source (Thanks!) sent us this screenshot with details about the new Olympus 150-400mm f/4.5 lens:
- The lens will cost 880.000 YEN (7000 Euro with tax included!)
- Shipment start on January 21
I do hope the pricing is a typo. It really makes no sense at all! I hope sources reading this post will send me the real price info :)
