Robin Wong: HIGH ISO & Low Light – Can Olympus OM-D Do it?
Robin Wong writes:
I had a shoot dealing with very low light environment, so I had to push the ISO numbers on my Olympus OM-D system. Bihzhu was very kind to invite me to shoot behind the scenes images of her live recording in studio of her new song “Alive”. The recording, and shoot were done in December 2020 before the second Lockdown in Malaysia happened on 13 January 2021. I was pushing my E-M1 Mark II (together with 45mm F1.8, 75mm F1.8 and 25mm F1.2) to their limit in this extreme condition.

Next week (March 17) OM Digital Solutions will (re?) announce the VN-551 IC recorder

Next week OM Digital will have it’s first product announcement. For sure we will get this VN-551 IC recorder in China (this recorder exists in other countries already). Still unclear if they will also announce the new 8-25mm f/4.0 lens. A German manager said it was coming soon but I am not sure we will get it on March 17.
