Some people in comments asked whether the 40-150 f/4 will support teleconverters. If you take a careful look at the roadmap, it publicly shows where a TC is supported and where not. The new smaller 40-150 PRO is – according to the roadmap – not planned to support TCs.

OM Digital is preparing the new product launch season for this autumn. The past weeks I have been told we can expect three things to happen:

  1. New lenses (note: this happened indeed last week!)
  2. Announcement of the new naming structure (there will be rebranding from OM-D E-M to OM 1D, OM 5D, OM 10D etc.)
  3. Teaser for the new “wow” camera launch in early 2022.

I am still not sure if that Samsung-Olympus smartphone partnership will happen…
