Robin Wong: This Camera Was Ahead Of Time! OLYMPUS C-8080

Share

Robin Wong writes:

Olympus C-8080 may be an old dinosaur, but this camera shows that Olympus knew what they were doing and they were ahead of time! It has tilt screen, EVF with live exposure simulation, high quality optics with excellent flaw controls and the camera was better constructed and felt more rugged than most modern cameras!

The Peak Design Micro Clutch collected over one million Dollar!

Share

The new Peak Design Micro Clutch collected over one million Dollar on Kickstarter (click here). This is what they write:

Micro Clutch is a hand strap. It’s optimized for mirrorless cameras. We made Micro Clutch for two reasons:

  • Cameras have, for the most part, gotten smaller.
  • Hands have, for the most part, remained the same stupid size.

These facts cannot exist peacefully with one another without some sort of tool to bridge their contradictory nature. This is where we come in.

Micro Clutch provides security, stability, and comfort in a delightfully well-designed little package.

Wild rumor: Xiaomi trying to fit a MFT sensor inside a future flagship smartphone!

Share

As you might have heard the latest Xiaomi 13 smartphone uses a large 1 inch sensor. I now got a wild rumor from a source, saying that Xiaomi is trying to fit a full Four Thirds sensor inside their next flagship. Basically this would double the size of the 1 inch sensor which to me sounds like a super challenging task. But if they pull it off it would be simply stunning to have a smartphone with something like a OM-1 sensor inside!
