As we all noticed Olympus didn’t launch any FourThirds camera since a very long time. Maybe that’s why Kirk Tuck and Bill Beebe tought it would be nice to help Olympus a little bit by expressing their own wishlist :)
The HyperPrime 50mm f/0.95
On March 1 Noktor will launch the fastest Lens for Micro 4/3rds.
Do not confuse this lens with the Leica Noctilux or Voigtländer Nokton.
Keep following us. We will update you with every info we will receive about the lens!
This is what we know for now about the lens:
With a maximum aperture of F/0.95, the Noktor Hyperprime is the fastest lens designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras. At open aperture, the lens renders pictures and video with extreme shallow depth of field for a unique aesthetic.
In low-light photography and cinematography, the lens exceeds the perception of the human eye. From nightscapes to campfires, now you can shoot in situations that are often impossible to capture with a normal lens.

UPDATED: According to our sources the Panasonic G2 will be the first digital (interchangeable) camera with touchscreen! I do not count here the very expensive Hasselblad or other digital medium format cameras which do have digital backs with touchscreens.
The Panasonic G10 will probably not have a touchscreen. That will be the main difference between the two new models.
The Olympus E-3
Really, I hate it to give you such news! According to the same sources that told me the new Olympus E-5 was almost ready for launch the Olympus E-3 successor release has been postponed. Apparentely there are working models of the E-5 but for some reasons they will still not launch it.
Everybody is telling me that it is a revolutionary model (not just an upgraded E-3) but we have no clue (if our informations are correct) why Olympus is waiting to announce it.
I have to remember you that we are a rumors site. So don’t blame on Olympus, we are talking about unofficial and unproven rumors ok?
