(FT2) Olympus E-PL1 bundle with the new 9-18mm lens?

A dpreview user had a small talk with an Olympus representant. According to him the “E-PL1 will be bundled with the Olympus 9-18mm Lens and also with the Olympus 14-150mm Lens at very low prices, he seemed to be hinting at around £800-900. ($1200-$1400)”

Today I will finish my latest documentary. The only interesting thing for you about that movie is that for the first time I used short movies taken with the Olympus E-P1. In fact that camera has become very useful for me. Nobody paid attention when I was recording with it! And that created some unique scenes.

So finally stress will be over soon and I can focus on new rumors. During the latest weeks I received some interesting news. A camera announcement is not imminent but I have some hints about what’s coming next. And if the news I received are correct Olympus is definitely going to surprise us!

First Noktor portraits at f/0.95

I found some time to take some shots when I was out for lunch today. The first thing I noticed is that it is very difficoult to focus correctly when you are in hurry and in outdoor conditions. Probably an electronic viewfinder would help a lot. I will redo some portrait as soon as I have more time. So do not judge the lens based on my shots!

I just received the new Noktor 50mm f/0.95 lens. I don’t have time today to review the lens (I will test the lens this weekend) but I could not resist to share some of the first pictures I have taken today.

I have taken three shots with different aperture (taken with the Olympus E-P1 -> maximal quality jpg without any post-processing)
