Just announced: New Godox Lux Elf Retro Flash
You can reorder it now at Bhphoto, Adorama.
Compatible with FUJIFILM, Canon, Nikon, Olympus, and Sony cameras, the Lux Elf Camera Flash from Godox is a playfully small light source with basic features. Its retro design will spark joy atop your camera.
- Vintage-inspired design and a distinct all-white finish
- Simple dial correlates power levels with the scene you intend to shoot. For example, if you want enough light to cover two people with the flash’s default ISO of 100, the dial lines up 1/4 power.
- Built-in rechargeable battery offers up to 400 flashes on a full charge and comes with a USB-C to USB-A charging cable.
- Control features include an Optical Mode that offers S1 and S2 settings. In S1 the flash will fire in response to another manual or TTL flash, while in S2 the Retro Flash will respond similarly, but ignore the initial flash.
- The unit also features a sync hole for connecting an optional sync cable
- Storage bagis included

Curious story: James Warner is obsessed by the older Four Thirds system!
James writes:
I’m the first to admit this obsession is illogical, BUT MY HEART SAYS OTHERWISE! 😁
I just wanted to sit down and share with you all my growing four thirds lens and camera collection, and talk about what it means to me. On paper it really doesn’t make sense, and I wouldn’t point many people this direction for starters… but man, the lenses and cameras really are beautiful and fun to use.
Personal note: I would like OM Digital to remake the f/2.0 zooms in MFT version!
